I heard you grumbling, I haven't posted pictures in a long time. It figures, when I'm ready to do it, Blogger is giving me trouble. More to come soon, along with the witty captions.

Good times in the Murphy house! Well, in the senior Murphy's house. (And by senior I mean Mark's parents, not senior as in old. LOL) First and foremost, I have a new hobby. I knit. Yes, I knit. Not only am I reading War and Peace, but I'm knitting. I love it. Seriously. It's like therapy. My first project?? A hat for the William. I put it on him, he touches the tips, and says "ears!" He's been meowing anytime he has it on. Yes, it's far from perfect, but I think for a first project it's pretty good.

And yes, he looks a bit snotty. He's got an ear infection/bad cold going on. Excuse the nasal excretions por favor.

William also attended his first concert on Saturday. We went to see the Wiggles. It was surprisingly not painful. Mark and I rather enjoyed it. Obviously, from my pictures I enjoyed Anthony. Hey, he's not bad to look at.

Here we're trying to explain to him that he can't sit anywhere he wants. He's trying to give us that innocent smile and sneak under Mark's leg to the next row.

This picture makes me look fat. I look like I have a double chin. I really don't have a double chin, but I guess that's the camera angle. As you can see, my child is so not interested in taking a picture.

And away we go...

Here comes the Big Red Car.

Hi Sam! Personally, I think you're doing a stellar job replacing Jeff. However, I think you got the shaft and should have gotten your own color.

Rocking out in the car.

Completely gratuitous.

What's up Sam? (Yeah, we had great seats.)

Jeff! So glad you could wake up for us!

Sorry, can't help it. My kid is gorgeous.

I see how it is, come to SC and dance like hillbillies.

No double chin here!

Do the monkey!!

Humpty Dumpty Jeff

Big finish!

Someone loves the Wiggles.

I absolutely adored the guy with the pink pony.

Halloween!! Yee-haw!

After a terrible scare Halloween night, trick-or-treating went off without a hitch. Will fell down the stairs at Grandma and Papa's house. All the way down the steps. It was the most awful, horrific thing I have ever been through. I was right beside him one second and the next he was falling. I couldn't get to him. I keep replaying it over and over in my head. We went to Urgent Care, got him all checked out, and everything is perfectly fine. Just a few bumps here and there, no major damage. We were very lucky. It still creeps me out to think about.

So now, without further delay, Halloween pics.

Trick-or-Treat! Yee-haw!
The cowboy and the kitty cat

William loves chocolate

He loves it so much he won't share with mommy.
Daddy and his little cowboy.

Want some candy?

Mommy and Aunt Sarah after the NKOTB concert Thursday. It was wonderful. Time has been kind to the New Kids.

Edventure Adventure

William and I hit up the museum the other day. Of course mommy looks at this as a photo-op. Got some great shots.

A little light reading while looking at some exhibits.
I'm driving the firetruck mommy!

Look out people, here I come.

This guy is creepy.

Bad chicken. Mess you up.

Fake meat kind of grosses me out.

Mommy, this meat looks a little suspect.

Practicing spending money...starting early.

Checking out Eddie.

Pumpkin Patch and New Undies

First things first, a pic of the house in progress. It's getting there. Slowly but surely.

Whoa, mommy, this guy is creepy.
I need to find the pics of him standing here the last two trips to the pumpkin patch.
Look mommy!!
Mommy, can we take the ostrich/emu/strange large bird home with us?
Holy cow Daddy! What was that? (They were shooting pumpkins in the air out of a pumpkin cannon. Will [and Mark] loved it.)

I can't get over how cute he looked today.

Ooops, I just gave you all the rabies.
Spooktacular.

I want this one.

Checking out the new undies.
Oh yeah, Diego on the heiney is cool.

The Fair (or hours of torture I endured for the sake of my child)

Oh yes, it's that time of year again. SC State Fair time. We managed to put it off last year. But this year we really had no excuse. We had to take Will. Cousin Peyton is here right now too, so they were able to experience the fun together. It was really cute to see how much fun they were having, and the people watching was exquisite. And so were those funnel cakes.

Think I'm gonna sit this first ride out.
Having a ball driving the boat
Wheeeee!
Too cute

What's up, duck?
Dear Mr. Chicken, I'm sorry for eating your relatives. Please stop looking at me like that.
I want a chicken like this. Seriously. How cuddly does this one look?
I want a baby duck slide too. This was awesome.
Wise advice.

Dad, I think I can get the straw in the juice faster than that.
I love funnel cake.
Will didn't want to ride on a horse, but was perfectly content in the bench.

Of course, there was some time spent doing this.
One last trip on the boat.

Not even out of the parking lot yet
Up to no good I'm sure.
How cute are they? Seriously.

Say COTTON CANDY!!
Cheers!
Are these kids leaving anytime soon?
Rocking the mohawk.
That's all for this time.

Fun at the zoo

Sunday afternoon, nothing planned, looks like the Murphys are headed to the zoo. William loved it so much last time, I thought it would be fun to go back and take Mark with us. Of course Will ran around like he owned he place.

Mr. Bear was happy to see us today.

His name is Zuma and I love him.

Look! He's barking mommy!

Probably one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Seriously.

Ah, young William, that's a funny joke.

You can almost hear him saying, "Go 'way mommy. Go 'way."

Can I help you?

After while, crocodile.

How YOU doin?

Mommy's favorite.

It's like Tuga on Diego mommy!

One is sniffing his butt, the other rolling around in the dirt. I swear, this zoo has the weirdest ostriches anywhere.

Could someone shut this Llama up? I'm trying to sleep here.

Will's favorite.

The rarest of all pictures, the William with his mother. This picture is rare because the William is not screaming to get away from his mother.
